USE CASE: Smart roller shutters with position control

Shelly 2.5 supports cover control, which makes it perfect for automating curtains, roller shutters, awnings, gates, and any other two-directional motor in your home. Use the “Schedules” function to create the perfect morning/evening routines by setting Shelly 2.5 to open/close the roller shutters in your home at pre-set hours every day. Additionally, precise position control allows you to set the desired intermediate position of your roller shutters in percent (%).

USE CASE: 2 lights with 1 device

Shelly 2.5 allows you to control two different circuits and monitor their consumption separately. This way, you can control two different lights on the same phase with only one device, saving additional energy and reducing your wiring footprint. Use the manual switch, app, preferred home automation system, or your voice!

Automate your pool cover and control it remotely, no matter where you are. You will not have to worry that your pool will fill up with leaves and dirt in case an unexpected wind turns up while you are not at home. Simply close the pool cover with a few taps on your phone.

The outdoor motorized awnings offer pleasant shade for the establishment’s visitors on sunny days. Use Shelly 2.5 and smart scheduling functions to set the awning position automatically in accordance with the sun. Set the awnings to be closed during the morning, then around lunchtime to open by 50%, and in the afternoon when the summer sun is high in the sky – to open at 100%, providing a pleasant shade for your guests. And at the end of the day, when the sun is setting, Shelly 2.5 will fully close the awnings and keep them closed till the morning.
