The Mini L293D 4-Channel Stepper Motor Driver Module is a robust, high-voltage, high-current, 4-channel driver. This monolithic integrated chip allows you to operate DC motors and power supplies up to 36 Volts. It’s capable of handling some pretty hefty motors, supplying a maximum current of 600mA per channel. The L293D chip is also recognized as a type of H-Bridge, an electrical circuit that enables a voltage to be applied across a load in either direction to an output, such as a motor.

Key Features:

  • Two 5V servo motor (steering gear) ports are connected to Arduino’s high-resolution and high-precision timer – no jitter!
  • Up to 4 bidirectional DC motors and 4-way PWM speed regulation (about 0.5% resolution)
  • Up to 2 stepper motors can be used for forward and reverse control, single/double step control, staggered or micro step control and rotation angle control.
  • 4-way H-bridge: L293D chip provides 0.6A (peak 1.2A) current for each bridge and has thermal power off protection, 4.5V to 36V.
  • Pull down the resistance to ensure that the motor remains stopped when powered on.
  • The large terminal terminal makes the connection easier (10 – 22AWG) and power supply.
  • With Arduino reset button.
  • 2 Large terminal external power supply terminal blocks ensure the separation of logic and motor drive power.
